September 1, 2009 -- Slash Books Call for Submissions - "Kink Bingo"

X marks the spot for this anthology, where each story utilizes a different kink to fill in a square on the Slashbooks Kink Bingo card!

Pitching for this anthology is simple: pick a kink, and let your imagination run wild! We'll be looking for stories from 2000 to 20000 words that explore the fun and wild side of kinks. As usual, all stories must include at least one same sex relationship.

The chosen stories will be published in print and e-book form, and all authors will be compensated based on story length as well as per item sold. Each author will also get up to three printed copies of the full anthology free of charge.

Deadline for pitches: Extension! to October 30 2009

Deadline for submissions: November 30 2009

August 8, 2009 -- Submissions Closed for "In Uniform"

The submissions for "In Uniform" are now closed.

Calls for the next anthology will be out shortly.

June 1, 2009 -- Slash Books Call For Submissions - "In Uniform"

(Almost) nothing is sexier than a person in uniform!

Slash Books is looking for short stories (500 - 20K words) that explore the gay or lesbian relationships of people in uniform - any uniform. Firefighters, police, french maids... all of these are valuable fodder for our target authors. We want to learn all about the many ways people in uniform find love!

Your story should focus on the relationship and its evolution. While sex is a part of a healthy relationship, we're looking for plot and characterization, not simple PWP. Intriguing characters and interesting situations are the ticket to success here. Be creative! All genres (humour, action, angst, etc) welcome.

The chosen stories will be published in print and e-book form, and all authors will be compensated based on story length as well as per item sold. Each author will also get up to three printed copies of the full anthology free of charge.
